COVID-19
During these unprecendented times, safety continues to be our top priority. In addition to our regular health screening procedures, we have adopted additional measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure that our center maintains our high standards of health and safety.
If you are having a procedure at our center, please follow this protocol:
COVID testing is mandatory, if you are scheduling a procedure at the center. Testing is now offered at the center.
The nursing staff will perform a COVID 19 rapid test for all patients who do not bring in or fax/email test reports prior to the scheduled procedure(s).
Once you have arrive in the surgical suite, you will be placed in the private consultation area where the preoperative nurse will meet you to complete your COVID 19 testing.
The following questionnaire will be completed in addition to the test.
A nasal swab will be placed in your nose. This is the COVID-19 test. The test takes about 15 minutes to analyze.
If you test positive for COVID-19, your procedure will be rescheduled. Your physician/surgeon will be notified and they will contact you with rescheduling details.
If your test is negative, you will be able to complete the rest of the preoperative process.
